Chania’s Hidden Beaches and Caves Private Exploration

Approximately 45 minutes on an average cruising speed of 22-24 knots.

The boat can anchor 20-30 metres away from Menies beach. It is not allowed to go closer due to swimmers in the area and shallow sea with rocky bottom. After we anchor the boat, you can easily swim to the beach or stay and relax on the vessel.

Approximately 1 hour. You can stay on the boat, relax and sunbathe , or go to the beach and explore the ruins of Diktynna Sanctuary. Otherwise you can go snorkelling.

Depending on how much time you have spent on Menies beach, your friendly guide will show you around the unique landscape of Rodopou peninsula with its private beaches and caves. You can have several small stops or spend all your time in Chironisia, a magnificent bay with crystal-clear turquoise Water, ideal for snorkeling or relaxing on the boat.

*Those who choose our evening tour will have the chance to enjoy the amazing sunset with a final small stop in Thodorou or Lazareta isle.

Between June 15 and September 10 bring your Beachwear, Towels, Sunscreen Hat,Hiking shoes (if you want to explore the landscape). If you book a trip earlier than June 15th don’t forget to bring a wind-jacket. The average (low-high) temperature in the Summer (June -August) in Crete is 20-33 degrees and usually without clouds.
For the months April, May, June (1st half), September (second half), and October, the average temperature may vary between 18-28 degrees. Bring a long sleeved shirt or a wind -jacket in case of cloudy weather, rain or late return to the Port.

If the boat is available you can ask your friendly skipper to extend your boat tour at an additional cost.

All pets are allowed on board under your supervision.

1. In the chance of inconvenient weather conditions, there will be the following options:
   • SEAze The Day will postpone the date.
   • Change the departure and return point accordingly upon arrangement with the guest.
   • If none of the two options above are feasible for the client, SEAze The Day shall refund the deposit amount.
2. In the event of cancellation more than 10 days before the date of the boat trip, the guest shall receive the 50% of the deposit.
3. In the event of notifying us about the cancellation less than 10 days before the date of the boat trip, SEAze The Day shall keep the entire deposit.

We require a 20% deposit for a booking. The remaining balance is paid upon arrival at the port before departing with the boat.

All our boats have portable fire extinguishers, first aid kit, flares, floating anchor, spare boat engine or two main engines, depth sounder and geodetic tracking system (gps tracker). Also, our staff is highly trained in emergency situations following a specific safety protocol.

There are no health restrictions but please notify us if you have children under the age of 4, if you have a pregnant person in your group, if you have any kind of allergies or a person with disabilities.
