If you are a couple or a small group of friends looking for an adventurous and romantic multi-day cruise on the Island of Crete, on this fantastic 2-day private trip, you will have the chance to explore almost all of the coast of the Chania Region by boat!
On the first day of our trip, we will visit the most famous beaches of Southwest and North-West Crete! Menies beach, the famous Balos Lagoon, Gramvousa Island with its shipwreck and the Venetian Fortress, Falasarna with its crystal clear sandy long beaches, Elafonisi is known for its pink sand, and Kedrodasos are some of our famous first day’s destinations. At the end of the day, we will dock at the traditional fishing village of Paleochora to stay overnight.
On the second day, we will visit the incredible southern coastline of Chania. Our first stop is Sougia, a small village famous for its long pebble beach, ice-cold water, and Lissos beach. Lissos is a small beach near the traditional Port of Sougia where you can see ruins of the ancient Lissos, the temple of Aklepios, and Agios Kirikos little church. Finally, we sail along the coast to discover the south’s unique, secluded hidden treasures. Domata-with its gray sand untrodden beach, Agios Pavlos with its divine Byzantine chapel, and Marmara with its huge smooth and soft white rocks creating caves to swim in. These beaches are accessible only by boat or hiking the famous E4 European path. Our last stop will be the renowned fishing village, Loutro, to take pictures as souvenirs, taste some local delicacies and explore the place. So get ready for an adventure in the Southwest of Crete.

Our company does not offer transportation services. However, we can arrange a one-way or round-trip taxi/minivan service for your transfer to and from the departure point at an additional cost.

According to Greek port authority regulations, the boat can anchor 50-60 meters away from Balos beach. It is not allowed to go closer due to swimmers in the area. However, the water is shallow (1.5-2m), and you can easily swim to the beach. If you want to stay dry, ask our friendly skipper to take you to the dock. From there you will have to walk to the beach.

How long do we stay on Gramvousa Island, and what else can we do there?
You can stay approximately 1 hour. If you are not interested in climbing up to the Fortress, you can stay on the boat, relax and sunbathe, or go to the beach and explore the island. Otherwise, you can snorkel at the famous Gramvousa shipwreck.
Paleochora is a traditional small town on the southwestern coast of Chania. There are plenty of things to do during your stay from the evening till the following morning.
The boat can anchor 30-40 meters away from the private beaches. It must go farther due to swimmers in the area or shallow rocky waters. The water depth will be 5-8m, and you can swim to the beach or relax on our vessel while enjoying the fantastic view. In the villages such as Agia Roumeli, Sougia, Marmara, and Loutro, the boat can dock at the small Marinas.
Between June 15 and September 10, bring your Beachwear, Towels, Sunscreen Hat, and Hiking shoes (if you want to visit the Fortress of Gramvousa) and something to wear during your stay in Paleochora if you’re going to hang out at night. Also, get a wind jacket if you book a trip earlier than June 15. The average (low-high) temperature in the Summer (June -August) in Crete is 20-33 degrees, usually without clouds.
For the months of April, May, June (1st half), September (second half), and October, the average temperature may vary between 18-28 degrees. Bring a long-sleeved shirt or a wind -jacket in case of cloudy weather, rain, or a late return to the Port.
All pets are allowed on board under your supervision.
We require a 20% deposit for a booking. The remaining balance is paid upon arrival at the Port before the boat departs.
All our boats have portable fire extinguishers, a first aid kit, flares, a floating anchor, a spare boat engine or two main engines, a depth sounder, and a geodetic tracking system (GPS tracker). Also, our staff is highly trained in emergencies, following a specific safety protocol.
There are no health restrictions, but please notify us if you have children under the age of 4 or a pregnant person in your group if you have any allergies or a person with disabilities.
